A Prayer with Luke 12:35-53

Today we pray stanzas 1, 2, and 5 of the hymn “Creator of the Stars of Night” (Lutheran Service Book, 351), asking Him to make and keep us ready for His return “at an hour [we] do not expect” (Luke 12:40).
