I love the prayers and devotions on this website. I find it frustrating that CPH doesn’t have any books by johann Arndt to sell. I would rather buy books through CPH than Amazon.com. Is this person a Lutheran? Is there another publishing house that rights to his books? I would rather support outright Christian book sellers than secular. Do you know where I can go besides Amazon to buy these wonderful Johann Arndt books? Where did you get yours?

  Thank you for listening to “Sacred Meditations,” and thank you for your comments and inquiry. I don’t know why CPH does not publish books by Johann Arndt; you’d have to ask them. However, that is a blessing for “Sacred Meditations”! Because we use sources that are in the public domain. One of our sources comes from a library book that is now in the public domain, and another source is a book that was published before copyright laws were enacted. That one did come from Amazon. And, yes, Johann Arndt (1555-1621) was a Lutheran pastor.
