A Prayer with Luke 15:11-32

Just as the father welcomed back his wandering son and made a banquet for him, our Lord and Savior graciously prepares a banquet of His Body and Blood for us. Today’s prayer is from the hymn, “Lord Jesus Christ, We Humbly Pray” (Lutheran Service Book, 623:1, 2, 5).
